i actually like polar because there are no choke points. i'm tired of maps that funnel players to 2 or 3 areas while making no use of the fps eating beauty of larger maps. NO CHOKE POINTS OR FUNNELS PLEASE

To make more maps have a point, you have to remove map voting and have them generated completely by random.

Otherwise the same four tiresome maps will continue to be voted for

yep do away with voting on maps. make it random. i like the old mode selection as well. what is that, escort doesn't have enough players selecting the mode to get a match... fine by me

I have said this for well over a year.

PGI will get no new money from me, who has spent upwards of $1000 in the first few years, until they provide content I want.

Others wanted Clan Warfare, or Skill Tree upgrade, I hope they got what they wanted and invested in PGI during that time.

All I wanted was maps, and have posted many, many times as much.



NO MAPS..

Why not just put the FW maps into QP rotation? The maps are already done. They just need to define spawn points and bases and such. You'll say why don't I just play FW? Well, QP gives me the option to just hop into a match whenever I have 15 mins or so to spare. I don't have to mess with my drop decks all the time (I like playing a lot of different mechs). It will also let new and solo QP players a chance to get familiar with the FW maps so they're not so intimidated when they actually get into a FW match.

War Thunder as F2P Game has no problems with user created Maps, Missions or Campaigns and its own Editor for it

It can't be random if some sort of code has to be written.

Before voting was introduced, the mm tried to have everyone drop on maps an even number of times. It was never an even number but it did get in the ballpark. Someone mention this on the forums. I was skepicle at first until I checked my stats. It was true. Maps that had two versions were counted as a single map.

I like Tera Therma a lot. I have maybe dropped on this map only 5 times since introduction.

While you are right about the funneling...I dislike Polar because it is so one-dimensional. I love maps which different "levels" like Bog, Canyon and HPG. Good positioning is also rewarded there, lack of situational awareness punished :)

I want more

urban maps,

moonscape, polar like map

Rolling valley style. (one of the FW maps has a semi rolling valley outside of it)

Sarah desert, again more rolling dunes with rocky crags.

A very mountainous alpine alps like map. Peaks and valleys

A high rise urban map with no open spaces, only slightly less tall buildings that you can maybe shoot over, and a Tukayyid Pass map, a narrow map that's pretty much death ball brawl only, like Canyon only with no way to get up on the canyon walls. We have enough forced sniper and LRM maps now. Please never make another again.

Something that's sorta like the opposite of Caustic Valley, with hills sloping down into a big pit mine in the middle. There could be piles of tailings or big earthmoving equipment for cover.
