Hey guys,

Since logitech has removed the ability to manually seperate X and Y axis sensitivity from their hardware, I'm trying to find a way to make MWO accept seperate X and Y sensitivity for mouse inputs.

I'm aware joysticks have this option, but mice don't appear to have the same capability, at least by display default.

Anyone know if we can slap "OptionCfg.cl_sensitivityX" "OptionCfg.cl_sensitivityY" into attributes.xml of our local profiles?

Sounds like that might be extremely hard to do.

I know Razer (had) this function in its software, but their mice are mostly crap and dpi steps werent 'native'. Meaning all sensitivity sliders where using interpolation which means inaccuracy. But yeah that does make stuff like this possible.

What mouse are you using? Is it the mouse itself or updated software? If software, rolling back to an other program?

It's the G502 Proteus Core, using the logitech software.

I was able to re-enable seperate X/Y axis viewing in the software, but it's only a display setting and doesn't have any affect on the mouse itself.

Interesting program, I'll have to give it a whirl and see what happens.

I've found that program only adjusts the XY sensitivity of the 'roll over' feature, not the mouse inputs itself, which sadly makes it useless for my needs. I can only hope PGI reads this thread and gives me X/Y sensitivity in the next update.

sorry snowdragon, but I don't believe this will ever happen, there is no provision within the engine, which would make it easier for them to create ... so your probably asking too much ... some mice used to be able to set this within the configuration software .... but I haven't been able to run mine since win7 .... if Logitech used to allow it in their software, you could use older software, or try to put some effort into hacking the two bits of software together ... I've hack crafted a few driver ports in the past ... and while you might get something to work, its not something id recommend to the average ...
