How ever it is worth mentioning, depending on how my you like Black Knights it might be worth wile.. also should MRM's get in, she could get a MRM/30 and MRM/20 in there for a 50 point CQB missile punch.

Honestly though, MPL + 2SRM6+A on a big XL will probably be a decent skirmisher, if the missile tubes are tightly grouped on the arm.

You can do that on a Warhammer 7S, only you get a 3rd SRM 6 +A. It's way better.
The BK is pretty disappointing.

Or, use it like the other Black Knights and turn the left arm into your shield arm.

It's more useful than putting LRMs on it!

It's PGI?
Yeah, but they also gave us the Deputy Urbie! Also the 6 Energy King Crab looks nice.

I never said that it wasn't disappointing, just that it wasn't a complete POS.

Well
And the King Crab, is still King Crap.... Just now, rather than dumping AC/s into the ground you can dump energy discharges into the ground....

I do like it when PGI breaks the mold with a mech though.

If you play it as a lasvom meta Poke Knight with an XL there isn't much to see here. If you play it as a standard engine Monty Python Black Knight brawler, a couple of srm's with mpl's are gonna rock big time.

That's great, can't already do that on a WHM-7S but with an extra missile pack or anything.
2 Missile hardpoints on a heavy are useless.

I agree. Let's all just play Warhammers. They do generally outclass every other heavy, even post nerf.
ed. The WHM-7S with srm and mpl is probably one of my fav builds, it's so good I feel cheesy playing it and change mechs because I want a harder game. It does require an xl engine to pull off, the BLK take the standard engine better.
Same with the WHM-6D. Why would you choose a BLK over this? It's just better in every way, apart from requiring an xl to be decent.
Standard engine BLK's can have bits hacked off them and still bite your kneecaps off

The WHM-7S the worst and most unpopular Warhammer, and it outclasses this Black Knight hero. There is NOTHING good about this hero mech (aside from the camo), you only buy it if you love Black Knights and want to make do with 6E hardpoints.
And I'm pretty sure GHRs and MADs have outclassed the Warhammer since the nerf, that's my experience anyway, let alone all the Clan heavies that outclass all the IS heavies.

The worst Warhammer is still better than most. I nearly sold all my BLK's after they were nerfed. Then I switched to standard engines. The xl/laservom BLK's were overpowered, they had it coming. Their niche is tanky charger with hardpoint redundancy now. I'm looking forward to this hero as it fits that role v well. The srm's will give it some good finishing abilities.

"Wait for FutureTech™" isn't very compelling to me
