Paying 80,000 per match for 2 consumables was already high in my book. Now you're charging people upwards of 360,000 cbills per match if they choose to go down the Consumable skill tree? 1,440,000 cbills for a faction play game.
Cmon PGI. 60,000 per consumable is excessive.
All these sorts of high costs do is create greater inequality between players like me who have been here a while and have tons of cash to burn, and most everyone else.
Pgi Increased The Cost Of Consumables By 50%

Also greater inequality between those players that have spent cash on the game for cbill bonus mechs and premium time, and those that have not.
In other words, increased pay 2 win.

All the consumables are now of the upgraded type that were previously only available for MC or buy using the enhancement module.
So you either pay 60K or 15MC for an 18 coolshot, a advanced UAV or a priority airstrike. The lower quality consumables of each type are gone. So the prices have not actually gone up. They have just removed the generic economy brands and made the quality brands available for C-bills as well as MC.

I'm pretty sure it's 40K on live so no, you are incorrect. That's what Jman is upset about. 60K > 40K. (Cheap Cool Shot is 10K).

Okay, so looking at this consumable tree and scratching my head
1) Not sure what the Capture Accelerator is doing here, and nodes still buried behind...stuff
2) Ditto NARC
3) Seems to be no reason to buy MC consumables anymore except cost which
4) 120-k for two modules will eclipse average c-bill return for non-premium-time player in QP which results in a negative new-player experience
4) I had a huge stockpile of small coolant flush tanks that seem to have been subject to pilferage
5) Increasing cost of consumable load brought to FW by 4.5 times (assumes max load carried) is...just a bit much. As is tripling the number of actual consumables brought.

So just for clarity sake because I know these things can be confusing.
On live a fully upgraded Coolshot becomes a Coolshot 9 x 9 and costs 40,000 cbills. The Coolshot 18 costs 15 MC. Both these coolshot types are identical in potency (9+9=18). Removing Coolshot 9x9 and just replacing it with a Coolshot 18 for cbills is not selling a better version for more cbills. It's selling exactly what we already have in the current Coolshot 9x9 on the Live version for 50% more.
The same is true for Priority strikes, and Advanced UAVs.
The idea behind the MC versions was to allow you to bypass the GXP upgrade costs or to just use MC if you were low on Cbills.

My mistake. I have never bought any consumables and only use the ones awarded in events so I did not realize the 9s were the same as 18s.
Under the new system I will still never buy consumables.

Encourages mc spending and is a nice counter to spammed consumables.(2 coolshots, 2arties ... is somewhat insane)
Dont have problem with it and i understand the reason ... nevertheless i liked it for 40k more.
