Is the inability to stop (yes I chose hard break in mobility tree and it is maxed) an intended nerf? The brakes on my mech are not working and it is not fun....

I agree a mech not being able to stop and reverse is not a fun way to play the game.

I was just playing my Hellbringer. I have Hard Brake maxed. I did a non-scientific comparison between the exact same Mech on Live and PTS on the same piece of ground. From 87.1 it takes the LIVE Hellbringer 3 steps to stop from full speed when releasing W. On PTS it takes the Hellbringer a bit over 4 steps to stop from full speed when releasing W. So even with hard brake supposedly reducing stopping time by 25%, it is still taking 133% longer to stop on PTS than it is on LIVE.

Wait, from 3 to 4-and-a-bit steps are 133%?

Pretty sure Hard Brake being non-functional is a bug fellas.

Yes if it takes 3 steps to a complete stop that is 100% decel in three steps. If it takes an additional step then that is 33% more so 133% to come to a complete stop from what it took before.

Ah.
Its 133% as long, but its only 33% longer.
Please stay precise if you are using numbers.
