Yea pretty much, I don't like the idea of burning 6 consumables in a 5 min match either., that is why i think 2 with possible unlock 3rd use would be good.

ahh ok, thanks for the info I never really use um, outside of a couple mechs i had one in to burn 6's i got for free because i can't seem to get rid of um any other way.

The nodes can make the arty better, but to outright KILL a mech with them from fresh, you need it to be a light mech standing still...and you need to use BOTH of them. They're still far more useful being laid onto targets already stripped of armor because then the damage goes to the internal structure where it can amputate limbs.

If your whole team has 2 arty/airstrikes and there is a 30 second global cool down, then that's 24 consumes/30 seconds = 1 going off roughly every 30 seconds during a 15 minute round.

That's good to know. Kanajashi was talking about a cooldown being in the game all ready. Maybe global cooldown will be increased?

Personally, dual arty/air strikes won't change the game so much, other than bankrupting players.. but double UAV's could be a game changer..

Also, dual cool shots... well that's something that should have been a thing from the get-go.. Cool shots should be a feature of every mech.. not a consumable..

Good thing increasing TTK is not one of the goals of the PTS. UAVs for the LRMers, Cool shots for the laser boats, and arty for everyone.

I need to spend more time playing with the auxiallry branch on the PTS. My Narc Raven is going to be epic.

Sure... maybe just leg a couple of your teammates and we'll call it even.


My "Accumulative C-Bills Per Match" is 176,561, is that the ave cbills per match to date? If so, on average, I would only be able to afford to use 3 consumables per game to basically stand still. Players that either though stockpile and or skill and or real monies and or some combo of these will have an advantage that other players wont realistically be able to afford without using real money.


This seems to me, to be moving mwo closer towards those wonderful golden bullets


I would love to know what the ave cbill/game/player was. As I would assume (taking into consideration Tarogato's previous reported stats on ave scores etc), that it is somewhat below 240K/match
