Its stock heat performance means that the Mech Operations tree has limited use for it, freeing up 16+/- skill points relative to the average mech. That's a potentially silly amount of advantage for it even compared to it having the default 4-module setup on the live server.

It does have mildly lower accel, decel, turn rate, and twist rate compared to other Heavies. But they're arguably less noticeable than on the live server because the mech already had a relatively small engine, is a poptart, and carries an Assault's payload.
