The closest thing i can get to a zoid is a mechwarrior game. I don't have a japanese xbox to play the zoids game and i have a gamecube to play the zoids battle legends, but the graphics and voice acting gets tiring. Mechwarrior is the closest thing i can get to a zoid. For some of you out there that don't remember or don't know anything about what a Zoid is then go google that please. It's better than transformers imo.

I'm afraid you're looking at the wrong franchise there.

The only thing in BT that comes close is the later versions of the Thunder Fox, and PGI won't be putting that into MWO until around the year 2090 or so :)

I suppose a Jenner comes reasonably close to a Rev Raptor, if not in looks than at least in performance (sans melee weapons)

I just remember on MW3 the firefly being like the lightning saix in terms of speed. For some reason the MadCat felt like the blade liger. I forget what mech it was that i had that felt like the genosaurer but it had 2 big arms and the legs bent like a madcat but it bent further down. i got a video of it, but don't know how to post it.

just go to the the top of the page, click on media, then art work, and start comparing in your mind what looks like what. you can make practically any mech do almost whatever you want after that. make it run jump (maybe not jump, depending) and shoot.
the spider can run 130kph and float like a flying squirrel.

and i imagine you wre pioloting the murauder with its big doral gun, which wont likely make it into the game (legal issues)

Quite a few "Zoidmechs" in Battletech, but most of them don't come around for awhile. As in, not until 2020+ (MWO will have a sequel by then). And I don't think PGI is planning to add quads in the future.

Gawd i'd love to see a quad mech in the game, would really add to the variety. The snow fox and scorpion both are within the games time frame....I'd love to try a snow fox, it has 3 variants although 1 is much later like 3070 or something. They could make mechs like this be premiums like wot...where you buy them pretty much as is. Though I'd like to still be able to configure the weapons. They could just include pilot skills and mech attribute boots in the price, so basically they are fully upgraded when you buy them. Be a good way to get some mechs in game that don't have several variants. Could even fudge the time line a little and call them "prototypes" to get a few mechs in that might otherwise be beyond the games time frame.

For now I'm stuck with sink fox....Her name is Echo, and she is a perpetual pain in my *** :D
