Any chance this can be a viable option? Or are the Lore loadouts too unbalanced to make it fun?

Believe it or not, the stock loadouts are better balanced in MWO than in TT. Anyway, stock mode is not about balance, it's about Battletech as it should be played.

You do have stock mech game mode, you can do that and more in private lobbies.

Keep in mind that's only if you and someone else have premium time running and can fill up said private lobby.

But seeing as you don't get rewards for playing privately, it's really hard to do unless it's a major event like "Stock Mech Mondays" I think it was, or you're in a Unit and it's training day.

Level 1 tech Stock Mech mode sis a lot of fun. TBH, even customizable level 1 mech matches are fun. Much more reasonable TTK, just form lower Heat Caps, and firepower. DHS and XL engines, both changed the nature of the game, profoundly, and Clan Tech just put it into hyperdrive.

Probably, but again they more than likely have Premium Time going which is the only way to get into private lobbies.

Cool, I still have no issues with it then.

You can do private lobbies with 2 people, you can do it with 24, just cant do it solo like this game.

I was just thinking about this as a Game Mode on Quick play as a select able option, you know like Incursion and the other option Stock, game auto configures our mechs to drop in stock. I think it would bring a new level of fun, It is fun in private lobby's. But I think it would be fun as a Quick play option that random moment where you play in the Lore of Battletech.
