That means when PGI said you need 3 Mech to master that was it, I bought 3 Mechs to master
The same with Mech enhancements
Modules to me are worth there weight in gold because I own them (so to speak)
These modules allow me to fully test different load-outs and the only down side
Was the initial cost
Of the few Mech I have played around with on the PTS I have gone though several
Respecs
Bottom line I play the game the way it was delivered
Did I like the 3 Mechs to master rule nope did I cry about it nope
Same with a lot of other things like Radar deep (6 mil each) modules
The good side was I owned the module
I bought a Mauler then sold it then bought it again then sold it again
But I kept all the modules I had bought for it
Not crying just reporting how I play the game
At this point I say let's get this done and over with so
We can move on to some fun stuff

WTF Russ? You think only a small portion of the player base modual swaps? Russ is out to lunch. We are just putting to use a system that was build into the game 4 years ago and now suddenly we are cheapskates? Where does the money come from that pays your salary? It comes from us cheapskates. Way to go Russ, keep biting the hand that feeds you.

Okay. Seriously. What did you get out of that stream?
I got a bit of: "Hey meet the new guy", followed by "Hey good news we are lower the node cost to 45K" followed by nothing else but them not really saying anything, Russ once again casually insulting his community followed by 7 minutes of trying to back pedal and insist he was just joking, then a concerted effort to ignore ever question put forth except -it was either two or three- comments that they dropped into their extended riffing on the central theme of "we do listen you just don't like what we have to say".
I don't want a $1000 from PGI, I want them to give me a reason to give them another $1000. That stream does not, in any way, help them with that argument.
Real communication, and them making an effort at expressing their vision for this game, its individual changes and their hopes and dreams for the whole schabang would be a good start to giving me that reason. Provocations and inane babble however, such as were the primary aspect of that stream will not.
Since Phase 3 of CW dropped they have provided no reasons to support them at all. In fact they have given a lot of really solid reasons to never them with my entertainment dollars ever again. And the more they insult the community with their utter lack of professionalism and often straightforward expressions of disdain for us, they make me regret having spent any of those dollars in the first place.
No I don't want a thousand dollars from PGI, I just want them to stop being contemptuous of their customers and to make a game that is not only worth playing but once again worth actively supporting. To much to ask? Fine. I'll take the grand instead.

Sure it going to be a big step to choose all the new options but that's great.
Fact is I don't get it all yet, but everything in game so far is really well done so I am not worried about it all. I will freak out after the fact if its bad.

There are hundreds or thousands of those. Really amazing.
Maybe this one is relevant to the topic? I cant understand a word but its fun to watch.

The real dancers are just as amazing. Many doing that to, the same dances, very popular.

I saw this a long time ago, out of touch with his customers and even goes so low as to insult them.
Thats a great way to make money.

Well you know all your time and money spent is now worth less when the new skill tree comes out right?
You dont get a 1:1 conversion of mastered mechs so have fun re grinding all those years of hard work. I dont wish that on anyone...
The fact that they think, even for one second, they can take something away from paying and non paying customers alike is complete horse sh*t and the reason i stopped giving this pathetic excuse for a company money a long time ago.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

There was no fooling everyone knows/knew it was a place holder.
I just hope they make it good and don't fold to trolling from players who cant find anything better to do.

Legit concerns? MechWarrior online has to live with how good the result is, meanwhile there is a lot of effort to make it easy on existing players, so whats to complain about?
Then of course the updates to follow...

Try reading what i said and responding to it correctly if you want to have a conversation sir. I dont even know what you replied to or what you think i said. There has never been an attempt to make it easy on anyone and they just added ANOTHER cbill sink which is a hard thing to make in this game without paying RL money. So now engines, weapoins, mechs, consumable all being CBill bought things we can throw skills in there now too and new and old players alike cbill now dont go as far....because they arent worth as much in comparison to what you have to spend it on in the game.
This whole game is a place holder bro but why i try to talk sense into you is beyond me. We know you cant be helped johnny.

The whole game being a place holder? I may even half agree with that. In the sense that its taking forever to get done. A lot of games are now...
Anyway, pace of the game being built is a different subject and I am glad they got around to finally doing the skill tree.
