Thats pretty damn vague. Refunding my progress? Not refunding my currency? Just give me my money as promised.

I wont really miss the cbills, but saying everybody will get a full refund and then saying "but not in currency but in progress" is quite a ripoff.

They've painted themselves into a corner. As I said in the follow-up, some thought should be given to modules purchased with refund promise in mind.

Only if you give him your word that you will spend it on skilling out your mechs and not on mechs. There is real money for that.

I spend my cbills on those modules, I could have spend those on mechs. Wether or not I buy mechs with it after I get MY cbills back should be entirely up to me.

If I get `progress` back instead of cbills, is like I am returning an item to the store and:

"Sorry the item was not to your liking sir, here is 500 dollars worth of apples as your refund. We did promised full refunds after all. Please shop at PGI again!"

Oh no.

I too bought modules on the promise of a full refund. Mostly because I was lazy and didn't want to run through the Mechodex and find modules that were equipped on other Mechs and transfer them and also because they said they would give me a full refund.

I also invested points in the current skill tree instead of rat holing the GXP for future updates.

Won't be happy if PGI goes back on their initial announcement....

I think I am in the parsimony club. I used the C-bills I was saving for the new tree on mechs and modules. Luckily PGI sent the current contest. Electroflameageddon, at least the GXP keeps rolling in and without a new tree you will not need it as much.

Oh yeah, the economy of the update didn't worry me one bit, I was looking forward to some diversity, some sacrifice to boat optimized builds.

Guess there are too many children afraid to share...
