Does anyone here remember a server known as Mplayer? So far it was a non-profit gaming server that ran from 1996 until Gamespy took it over the server and shut it down in 2001. I remember seeing it when I had Heavy Gear 1 for the PC.



So far the developers have been trying to resurrect the old Mplayer to modern standards. They have the legal code for it and they currently have it in Alpha Testing.
