SO pgi, nothing was wrong with the old base positions on crimson straits. why did you "fix" it?
Your new base location sorta points towards the saddle rush ALOT more. Don't get it. Ever heard the term "if it's not broke, don't fix it.". Stop fixing things that are not broken. please....

Promoting saddle rush breaks up the monotony. I am fine with it. Until I get tired of it.

Still better than Alpine Peaks Domination, where if you don't have any lights and you're on the bad side, you lose the game before even getting to the circle. Half my matches on that map and mode don't last past 60 seconds.

I wouldn't mind it, except it seems like people on the water side are more likely to at least spend a minute contemplating rushing over saddle. Meanwhile, 9 times out of 10 whenever I'm on the other side everyone sprints off past tunnel. I've actually had no small number of games where my team loses simply because they deathball around the long way while the other team sprints across saddle and straight to base. And I see it coming, too...when there's only a couple lights trying to hold saddle and you just know that you can't hold back the tide. The rest of your team wants you to somehow magically hold the saddle, while they try pulling some sort of long flanking maneuver in assaults and heavies.

Is it the players? Have they been conditioned to rush for the Domination area? Is it the spawn locations? Is is something else? I honestly don't know, but if I get CS assault and spawn on that side, I just kind of sit there and groan, because I know what's going to happen, more likely than not.

Yeah, that's a bad one too.

What they need to do is randomize the base spawn location every match....

I liked the old position better.

And yea on Alpine Peaks Domination. That spot sucks if you have no faster mechs.
