IDK why is it hard for people to understand it's a battlemech, just take 2 minutes of yal time in the store or sarna and read that it's a battlemech....

I guess people just see that's it's a Mad Cat and think it's an omni.
As far as i remember, the original Mad Cat and mk IV are omnis, when mkII and mkIII are battlemechs.

wait this is a Omnimech? think i ask a refunds then that means you have 2 GAINT hit box's.
becase those will always be on with or without launchers.

Yeah I'm guessing from years of trauma, that the mech brought people only remember it as a omni, and your right the MK II and III are battlemechs in the respected cases.

Battlemech, it's not a omni even if it was one you remove the missiles the "ears" are gone. Come on people it's only like 2 minutes of reading to tell it's a battlemech.

well omnimechs being way worse than battlemechs in MWO doesnt help the reputation of omnimechs any

omnimechs in general could use a buff

I honestly think PGI was onto something with the omnimech set bonus quirks. I wish they never abandoned that. it was a good idea.

Let's us remove a certain amount of locked equipment like JJ's MASC or Clan Active Probes?

from what i have seen in youtube clip explaining the new skill system "Quirks" are getting baked in the mech.
so they not really abandoned the system

Yeah I mean that would help too. Or give omnimechs with locked equipment a decent set bonus to offset the downside of having locked equipment.

but are they bringing back the set bonuses that omnimechs used to get when they used a certain number of parts belonging to the same variant?

omnimechs like the direwolf basically just get screwed now. theres no reason not to play a kodiak 3 instead.

I'll support it if they don't give omnis worthless quirks on certain variants I'm fine, and IDK about bring back set bonuses, the only heard about certain mech with agility quirks are gonna be added o a mech base agility.

it should have stated that's not a Clan mech. i ask for a refunds i not gonna spend 70 Euro's on this crap.

It really does make me sad that the hero doesn't have 2 missile hardpoints, 1 per ST. Only complaint I have about the hero.

You do realize the entire IIC line, Supernova, and Kodiak are all Battlemechs, but still Clan tech, right?

And something like the launchers on the Warhammer disappear when you take the missiles off.

It was originally built for clans and have clan tech in it, it wasn't well received mostly to the prime sellers Clan Wolf and Jade Falcon, so they DS start selling it to Inner Sphere but only unmodfied versions.

And the factions that mostly field them the most: Nova cats, Ice hellion, Jade Falcon, Wolf in Exile, Diamond Shark, Draconis Combine, Lyrans, and the Commonwelth.

Here's an example from the Timber Wolf itself: Even the variant with missile hardpoints on the ST's won't have the boxes if you don't put missiles there.
