Hello: I find it really hard to see which weapon modules I have unlocked and which not. There are just too many. Is there a quick way to see what I have for all possible weapons, not just the weps on a particular mech? Thanks for any help.

To see where you are as far as unlocking weapon modules, in the mech lab go to skills and then pilot skills, I believe. The list of weapons modules is very extensive, and I am pretty sure is about to change with the implementation of the new skill tree.

if you fully unlocked them (5/5), they are color blue. it takes 3500 GXP to fully unlock (500,600,700,800,900) to 5/5

also if you go into mech lab and use the module tab, it'll show what modules you can use, ( I think equipped only needs to be checked) and it will say Locked or Unlocked.
I'm not sure, but it may even show unlocked, even if the weapon module in question is only skill 1/5.

other then that, you have to scroll through till you find that one you're looking for

Thanks, but I'm not sure I understand. I'm familiar with the module buy screen but it doesn't seem to allow you to show only what you have, it seems to show what you don't have. So you have to look a all of the options to see what level would be the next level to buy. I don't know what happens when you've bought the highest level module since I haven't gotten that far. But bottom line is, I can't tell what I have unless I'm in the mechlab and it will tell me what I have for the weapons on the mech. But I can't choose the weapons based on my list of modules unless I make a list manually. Unless there's something I'm missing it seems like poor UI design to me. Since PGI delayed the new skill tree without deadline I'm not confident this system is going away any time soon. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks

It appeared that pgi went back on their word and will not fully refund gpx and c-bills spent on modules. I'd recommend to put module skilling/buying on hold until pgi makes up their mind (and actually sticks with it).

provided you have unlocked, as in spent GXP to unlock the first level of the module you can purchase and fit the module to a mech.

to find out exactly what you have go to skills, pilot skills, weapon modules, and look down the list, that will tell you if you have unlocked a specific module and which level you have unlocked.

if you purchase a module then later unlock a higher level of that module in pilot skills, any coppies of that module you own automaticly upgrade to the higher level.

the image linked above highlights where you need to click to see what you have, first click skills,
then pilot skills,
then weapon modules, and it will show you what you have unlocked, if fully unlocked they will be blue, if not yet fully unlocked it will have a fraction, 0/5 means you have not unlocked it, 1/5 means you have unlocked level 1 4/5 means you have unlocked level 4

in the Mechlab there is a tick box to show all weapon modules or just the relevent weapon modules for weapons you currently have on the Mech, if you have not unlocked them they will show as locked,[edit] but nowhere in the Mechlab will it say what level you have unlocked it has a number next to each module to say what level you have unlocked

I wish there was a button in your Mech Bay where your non-consumable modules would all go back into your Inventory.

Instead of having to go through all of them to find them.

Thank you this is very helpful. I think that the mechlab is the best solution - I didn't realize that you can remove the limit for the specific mech weapons -- my mistake there since that should have been obvious. Also,
Although The text is very small (At high resolutions), I think it does tell you the level that is unlocked with a number in the module name. But - I learned from another post -- even if you uncheck "equipped" weapons the mech in the. mechbay will Limit the weapon modules listed to either Clan or IS.
So you have to do this twice to see all the unlocked modules. But other than that this is what I was looking for. Thanks!

concidering I took the screenshots and edited them together while typing that post I am truely impressed that I managed to miss that, thanks.

do not worry, PGI have yet to say anything of the sort, I would be extremely suprised if they went back on that.

Yeah me too. I have been playing since August 2012 and I have literally spent a fortune on modules, like many others. (I have all modules unlocked at the highest level and each of my 200+ mechs have a full complement of modules, so no swapping required.) If PGI isn't going to give us something for our time there will probably be a LOT of very upset people.
