I just wished the smoke would die down after shooting a mech. It's bad enough the chassis is now invincible cover but if you can't see past it and someone feel in a narrowed path, brawling is impossible.
Destructible terrain's a nice idea, I'd love to see an Atlas crushing through a wall for the ultimate surprise but the overhead toll might be nasty. I had to upgrade cause of the map revamps.

That would make for an interesting Arena for Solaris with slowly rising lava and you fight an a small hill to stay at the top.
Beside that, I get what you mean but I doubt mech weapons, while beeing quite strong, would be very well suited to dig holes fast enough to be importend for combat.
On a side note: Would that be like MechCraft?

We're in 1980s death machines. I think realism flew out the window a long time ago.

Takes a note: Smoke works at it should be.
I mean that is what its for. You either use "H" or you change your tactics.

What system do you have? I had to lower my specs a little bit when I bought a new monitor with a higher resolution. If it wasn't for the advantages you get from turing everything down except textures I wouldn't even lower my settings and my system is a i7 950...about 7 years old with a GF970..that is about one or two years old by now?

Yes we are. Still even in fiction you have to be somewhat consistant. I don't recall any mentioning of mechs beeing able to drill holes in hills or the ground fast enough for another mech to trip into it.
What I could imagne is if a fuel or ammo depo gets blown up it leaves a nice creater.
