Alex models are great, the only one I think that need a rework is this fella.

The MWO version is way too tall and can we agree on a rework of this chassis?

With how scaling works, this would be shorter (easier to find good cover), broader, less distance between guns and cockpit. All around it would be a plus, throw in the larger shield on the arm and it will help it shield arm and protect it's side torsos, which is nice given how much weapons it carries there. Plus also LFE's and XL's get help with beefier arms, but, side torsos need awesome treatment to make it more barrel chested as the art shows.

What would help many humanoid mechs, both IS and Clan, is if they had the ability to temporarily raise one arm at a time to fire the arm-mounted weapons.

I really, like the way the MWO BK looks. If the torso mounts were higher (even a bit) and they gave it that shield arm, it would be pretty damn close to perfect in my eyes. I don't think it needs a remodel, just a bit of help.

A bit of a buckler style shield on that left arm. Those torso mounts just a tad higher. That'd be perfect to me.

I do too. I actually think it's the best looking 'mech in the game as-is.

I loved my Black Knights till they got double nerfed by pgi, hey guys lets nerf their shoulder armor this week then make them taller and the shoulders easier to hit next week. one of the 2 changes would have been more than enough.

The R2 BK(S) look great. Awesome head and all but the none (S) BK have pointy, edgy head looks like crap imo.

I have no idea why some mechs go on a diet, and others get eaten out of meta-existence.

I'm sure we can ask the Jolly (Golden) Boy for clues.

I think its too tall and lanky, and yes the torso mounts can be higher, at least mid rib.

I was very disappointed in the MWO Black Knight's helmet/head. I prefer the old school look... especially the CCG art.

The modern black knight looks like it has a gorget and a stretched neck compared to the older art where it looked like someone in hefty armor that was so thick that the neck was protected by the shear thickness of the armor without specialized armor for it. It is why I find MWO's Black Knight kind of disappointing as well, looks too vertically stretched, like a grasshopper wearing a costume.

In my opinion, the Black knight needs to be a bit stockier.. it's too tall and too "lanky".. it would look better with more overall bulk.. and yes, it needs higher mounts..

Does not need shield arm, but would like if the shoulder panels symmetrical..

I like this design, but this Mech comes into existance during the Dark Age period starting 3132. Based on the sourcebooks it is mixed IS and Clan tech and even has the shield as a melee weapon

Really? The black knight comes into existence in Dark Ages? The LOLS......

http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Black_Knight says you are off by 3.5 5.5 centuries. And it's IS tech originally.

There are 4 DA variants, but it is a Star League original.
