I am reasonably certain someone has done the math on this... In fact I thought I saw a thread that kinda paralleled this idea when I 1st got on MWO but will be dog gonned if I can find it.
Lets say I want to convert my hard earned $$$ into C-bills. Sure I could buy MC then buy the C-bills with it. What I am wondering is if I would get a better exchange buying a mech pack then turning around & selling off the mechs then if I just bought the c-bills outright?
Any suggestions & if so which mech pack has the most bang for the c-bill?

I have not looked at the numbers, but I would be willing to bet the 20 dollar Kodiak pack would give the best return.
The clan XL400s are worth some $$$.

How much does a Clan XL400 go for on resale? I remember people saying the champion Jenner was best bang for your buck. But that was ages ago.

Sale value is half CBill cost. The $20 Kodiak bundle would have a resale value of 23,871,807 CBills.
If you spent $49.50 to buy 12,000 MC and then used that to buy CBills you'd get 19,500,00 CBills.
If you bought those three Kodiaks for MC that'd cost more than 18,000 MC which is way over that $49.50 figure.
Basically the meck paks seem to offer good value for money. It's all relative though $20 for three imaginary mechs is still steep!

Considering it includes 3 mechbays and 30 days banked premium time, it's a good deal even if the mechs are sold for c-bills.
With early adoption it sold for about 9 million c-bills more (modules) + 6,5 mil c-bills extra.
So it was about 40 million c-bills + mechbays + premium time for 20 bucks.
Btw, worth mentioning that even now, the kdk hero is @ 7500 mc (over 30 usd) while the standard pack + hero add on is at 35 usd.
PGI's pricing politics always have been a litlle wonky.
