Had you ever saw a pilot who at the start of the game, an Assault, hid back at the base. And then after everyone duked it out, only then he came out -- fresh even. With crit-seeking weapons, of course he'd wipe the floor with the damaged mechs. With the rest of the team got stomped because he didn't helped them, now it's a 1v9, of course it's no surprise that he'd die.
It's understandable for lights to be vulture-like and parasitic, but seriously doing it on heavier mechs, even purposefully hiding out, it's really annoying. I wish PGI would do something about this.

Yeah, that would be a classic KDR whоre. Just report him and move on. Hope something will be done to him once he gets enough reports.

Sounds like a very boring way to play the game. :/

The only options on Non-participation is AFK, and Suiciding.
Choose non-participation. And if you see him do that **** again in another match send an e-mail to MWO support, and tell them about it. Usually support takes action.
The guy could have been AFK for some other reasons though, not necessarily malicious one.

Oh...damn you name and shame policy...damn you.
Yeah there are a few notables and their shotgun DDC builds who I have seen do this EVERY TIME I have dropped with them. I have seen them be successful and I can even see it being an effective, though selfish strategy on certain maps. But when an Atlas waits until all his teammates are dead on Polar before coming out of hiding? Now you've gone from troll, to stupid troll.

Yeah, I've seen some players do this.
