Swiss-Army Direwolf
Not necessarily good like specialists build (even horrible ), but rather it's not just a one-trick pony like just some old PPC-Gauss poptart.

Shhh! you are NOT allowed! That aint META!!!! lol
(p.s. I swear the game would be a lot better if all weapon slots were required to be filled).

I mean, play what you like if you don't care about performance, but this build is not as well rounded as a PPC-Gauss poptart and has no tricks or ponies to speak of.

Builds boating AC5s.
Builds using mixed UACs or AC5s with medium lasers or medium pulses.
Builds focused on ER PPCs backed with SRMs. I find this acceptable for assaults that were meant to be missile boats.
Builds focused on ER large lasers supported with medium and medium pulses. Hot though.
Builds with ER PPCs backed with LBXes. Lately my favorite.

Clearly, you fail to grasp the serious business it is to not be a liability for your meta-team. Geez...
Honestly, I would not be so irritated by players that bend to the meta if those who do bend were generally not condescending douche bags.

you gotta mesh weapons based on range overlap and heat management. your ranged weapons can run a little hotter, you just have to not use them in a brawl. close in weapons need to run cool. shutting down at 900 meters is less deadly than at point blank range. a little bit of range overlap gives you some hot zones in your range/damage curves, you can use these to put the hurt on provided you can maintain appropriate distance.
if you have a team with any kind of build coordination then meh you are better off boating something for the range the team wants to fight at. the mixed builds really loose their effectiveness in that situation. its no substitute. on the other hand when your guest commander tells you to trade at 800m you will be glad you brought that erppc with your srm racks.

Yes, i went full ****** and builded bracket builds.
But good ones . Only one that i liked and still have, is this ntg-a .
The DWF build is bad, you dont have artemis and bap for your launchers, you have way to much ammo, the mixture of erml/ersml makes no sense and the lack of a targeting comp is meh.
