Is anyone else having problems with the game locking up when they play a Marauder?

I was able to play my Catapults just fine and, though I've yet to try out my Archers, I noted any time I play my Marauder, today, the game ends up locked up for me.

It doesn't do any good to write an email to support, as they just lump everything together until they can solve it, so I thought I would ask here, instead.

No issues like that have been reported as far as I'm aware. Try running the repair tool, perhaps a game asset related to the Marauder got corrupted somehow.

Yeah, I've tried that. I also just got finished updating, following another player's advice, which is so often forgotten, and I'm going to try running the repair tool, again.

Okay, so the problem was that Windows Update on my Windows 7 machine had not updated the way it was supposed to. After much research I found out I needed to download and manually install eight KB files from Microsoft. I downloaded them, stopped Windows Update, unplugged from the internet, and was able to install half of them manually, reboot, shut off Windows Update, stay off the internet, wash, rinse, repeat. After that, I had 16 (SIXTEEN) updates that I had not been able to get because my machine would not process through the Windows Update in less than 72 hours from the start of a run. It SEEMS that is fixed, now, and MWO is runnin' like a gaped-ape on this machine. It's a beautiful thing.

That is such a weird and specific issue. And it was due to bad windows updates. GG Microsoft!

Yeah, it's pretty rough, and very specific. The problem is that my cousin, who runs his own computer shop, has found it to be pretty frequent, as if Micro$oft doesn't want me to continue using Windows 7. Regardless, they've provided the means to be able to update a non-server Windows 7 system, so I've now done that and all three matches I've played today, thus far, were all wins, even if I died in the last game, and though I'm not saying it was because of me, not at all, I am saying that increased performance on my machine, and not locking up when I play, helped.

Had the game lock up last night in my Mauler when I tried to alpha a TW. After restarting the game never had an issue again.

Mine happened when I was taking some pretty heavy hits, every time. Thus, I thought it might be component HP values in play, perhaps something had not been programmed properly.
