By this i mean, when you uncover the box, does the server make the roll then? or is it already rolled by the time it gets to your account and you are just revealing what is already there and then it gets sent to your live/claimed account for when you log in.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it is already "rolled" But i dunno.

I know you have to click to claim, but it does make me wonder.

yeah, if im paying mc to open it i want stuff i can only get with mc, no weapons, no omnipods, nothing i can buy with cbills,

period.

it's a trash system, be nice if we had COSMETICS INSTEAD OF TRASH WEAPONS.

It is most likely already fixed. Which is why you need to be selective on opening crates.

i believe they are fixed as well , or at least have stacked odds. had to many identical boxes give the same item.

basically its a waste of mc .

I was not talking about supply crates.. I am talking about the Loot bags, aka the event going on.


But i was curious for two reasons.. one.. I opened my reward 25 backwards and got the reward on the last one i opened, But technically it was the first. So it made me wonder if i really got it on the First pull, and not the 25th.. (either way its great, as i just wanted it on my IS account, guess that javelin pre-order paid off!


But second, i also dabble in web design, and coding and was wondering if they have mentioned anything about it over the years. It is more a curiosity thing than anything else.


As for the crates, which is off topic, But i guess it's kinda the same thing, rolled before you open, or after.. something to ponder.

But hey,.. i opened 10crates on this account after getting the free mech on my IS as i was feeling lucky.

So i opened 10 crates, 2X 250K C-bills, 3 days + 2X 1 day premium, +2 large C-pulse+ 2x 50MC, all for 250MC value in keys, talk about a great day of rewards (the two not so hot crates netted me a couple of SRM launchers and an C-AMS)

sounds like i had the luck-o-the-irish

I'd say the prize is determined/rolled the moment you push the button on the forum page. Since for example you can only win a "grand prize" mech once and can in theory accumulate limitless amount of boxes (even tho you will eventually be able to open a limited amount), the server simply makes this "grand prize check" each time you open a box rather than do a reroll on the already determined boxes with other "grand prize" mechs after you managed to open one of them.
