I noticed and in a few other threads, you have an un-healthy obsession with me Festus. I am flattered, but trust me, tone it down before somebody(you) gets embarrassed. It's not my fault some people like myself can evaluate and make sense of things better than you. You get no apologies.

Well, thats not so much fun anymore. Stop stalking me on the forums festus and get a life. Same to the others that like that blatant troll post

Obsession? Really? I'm not interested in you one iota. I just happen to be interested in the threads in the forums that you happen to show up in and either troll, use pseudo-logic in, and generally demonstrate a complete inability to accept when you are wrong or completely off base. You are "Presidential" material these days. If I annoy you so much feel free to block me anytime you want.

As well I have no concerns about being embarrassed. None at all. What you interpret as "stalking" is merely someone who hasn't tired of pointing out your numerous and regular nonsense posts and arguments even though I might as well bang my head against a wall.

I will give you credit for relentless persistence and bloody mindedness regardless of how poorly you argue your points most of the time. There's that.

I don' t think and at least for me the patching has been any better or worse than other games I play. It may be that it's just relative to a person

Hardware related, For me, my notebook with a 5400rpm hdd, i7 2630qm (2-2.9ghz quadcore) and 8gb ram performs the worst. Last hotfix patch took about 30 min to patch. My PC with ssd dealt with it in a couple of minutes.
Is the patcher not the best piece of code? Certainly, but it gets the job done. While it takes its time, patching itself never failed on me, never had any issues with it, and since i know it take a while to patch bigger files i can simply do something else meanwhile. It's not like i have to sit and stare at a loading bar.

If possible, I would get rid of that 5400 rpm hardrrive those things are the worst time suck to modern computing.

Theres should be a law against them.

True, but i don't think of upgrading a 4 year old notebook especially since the upgrade would cost me like 300usd.
Just sayin' the patcher is noticable slow on such hardware.

Assuming you want to keep that notebook a while longer, an SSD drive is the best upgrade you can do to it. Additional RAM would be #2.

Thanks mate, but i won't invest money in it anymore. Like i said, 4 years also and i7 2630gm + radeon 6700m just don't kicking it in 2017 anymore (even for an entertaining notebook.).
I'll rather put cash aside for a new model then investing any more into it.

Hyperbole much OP? Unless you were serious and you should study the history of personal computers. Maybe save any possible drama and just get your point across
