Something about an event seems to bring out the trolls. Ran into one last night who TK'ed one mech at the beginning - acted like it was a newb accident, then really started his work in the middle of the battle. He got 4 before disconnecting. We all have run into these guys. They create new accounts and troll. If the game could be modified to where your mech couldn't do team damage until you completed the 25 initial matches (Knight Errant achievement), I think that would eliminate all but the most determined trolls. It would also make life slightly easier on new users.(and yes, I did report the troll)

Nah. Ran into a guy in a trial Phoenix Hawk the other day that decided to just start shooting at the back of the Battlemaster on our team (who was separated from the majority of other teammates, with only that guy and me near him). I tried to take him out as quickly as possible, but our Battlemaster lost quite a bit of his weapons and was GIMP'd for the rest of the match. After I killed him, he just immediately left and I started to get yelled at by teammates on my team who didn't witness the whole events. Some of them even started shooting me before I was able to type out my explanation, but they stopped once I got it out. I forgot his name, but it may be the same guy.

If you train people like that, they will never care about avoiding teamdamage .

I say, punish them ... HARD .

Beginners and Vets alike, no differentiation.
If you teamdamage you deteriorate your own and your team´s chances of success and that is plain dumb .
Dumb people get educated, brainless people should be getting left behind .


Also : Events dont really bring out the trolls, just the terribads and casuals, that dont play often and most of the time are not really giving 2 thoughts about their teams .
