Lets face it, the original 3E doesn't have much art, but what it DOES have, is good looks, especially in the art of the TRO of it's day. Then there's the MWO concept artists. Watch them make it the best looking mech released EVER. Please, tell me why you like the Banshee.

that art always makes me think the banshee is saying "hey you, cut that out, right now!"

Its not the base version that is cool. Its the variants. In particular look at the -3S model. 2 PPCs, AC/10, 4 medium lasers, SRM-6, and 2 small lasers. Unlike the stock version though top speed has dropped to 5.

The 3E isn't all that hot. Due to the regress of technology during the Succession Wars they had to roll back the armament to keep its speed (which is it's big selling point). Once the Helm Memory Core let some Star League tech back in the game, thats when the Banshee started to really shine. The 5S is a powerhouse. The 'Mech is armed for long range combat with a Poland Main Model A Gauss Rifle and two Defiance 1001 ER PPCs. For close ranges, the 'Mech has a TharHes Maxi SRM-6, four Defiance B3M Medium Lasers, and two Defiance B3S Small Lasers.
If that doesn't make you at least raise an eyebrow, nothing will.

The Banshee-3S is a great bodyguard for a Steiner Atlas / Awesome / Zeus lance. The Banshee-3M is relatively easy to buy even during the height of the Succession Wars, because nobody wants one. On the tabletop, a pair of 10 damage punches is great fun. And finally, because everyone thinks that the Banshee is rubbish, it's good to go and prove everyone wrong.

I love the banshee. 5S being my fav it has a great variation of weapons. I think that Flying Debris could do an AMAZING rendition of it, enough to visually be distinct from that of an Atlas.
