Greetings MechWarriors. Today I have a simple question. Are there any mods for MW IV, or a way to get MW 3 to work on Windows 10 and mod that, to have similar mechanics to MW:O? (I.e. beam duration on lasers, velocity on missiles and autocannon shells, stream fire, etc)

MW3 needs you to complete tasks for the Chaos Gods as well as for Gork (and or Mork)....

As for mods for MW/4 I have no idea, but I doubt that it will have mods to make it work like MWO...

Well, not exactly like but just a few of the things, again, like laser duration instead of an instant hit.

I remember seeing Stonewall doing MW3 videos. He'd probably know what ritual you'd need to enact to get it to work.

Someone probably could mod MW4, but I doubt to play like MWO. You'd need a skilled programmer to work that out.

I hope that PGI supports modding for MW5. Look at DayZ, Dawn of War mods, and many others. As long as people have to buy the base game to play them, it's just gonna sell copies of your game for you.

mechwarrior 3 requires you to make a gpu profile for the game so you can change settings and not have it explode. There might also be a few DLL files to replace.

4 vengeance i just havent been able to make work, which is a shame cause it love it
4 mercs should work if you have the free release or access to it, play with the config settings and turn off culturals

I'm pretty sure a lot of people have asked about getting MW3/4 to run on newer systems so I would suggest searching this site. I know I've seen it done on 7 and 8 and I think 10.

Still bad? Put there -noautoconfig as well.
Example: "D:\GAMES\MW4\Mechwarrior Mercenaries\MW4Mercs.exe" /gosnovideo -noautoconfig

i found this.. Dunno if it will help.. I've had many issues trying to get it to work. I have all the disks, from vengence, to mercs, and the DLC, aka Disk add ons for weapons and mechs

Alright, the Chaos god offered me MechCommander Online, and that was neat but, are there NO HD texture packs, gameplay packs, etc for MW4 other than the forbidden Mektek?

MekTek isn't forbidden, just take it for what it is and do not confuse it for canonical information...
