So, the upcoming advancement in the timeline is going to be a huge boon for the Boar's Head. It will finally able to utilize it's 400 engine cap thanks to light engines, and the MRM40 will make the single missile hard point actually useful. Add a UAC20 to this and this bad boy will be fun as hell to play. What other builds are you guys thinking of for this mech now that it will be running at Kodiak speed?

Not adding much to the discussion here but to say the Boar's head with an xl400, and 2 LPL and a medium in each arm is a thing.

It probably wont be enough to supplant the SRM atlas builds. The new guns will help the single hardpoint sections, for sure. Withholding judgement until we see how MRMs work.
I was always a fan of 6 LL on the boars head. There are more effective builds but this one is unique and most efficient on the BH.
