It took me a while, but I discovered that there's cooldown synergy between some weapons.
Thus, I'd like to ask you, what weapon combinations do you think that they have synergy?
for me at least:

srm2 doesn't really mesh with anything in terms of cooldown

srm4/spl
srm4/mpl > srm4/ml (because of mpl's shorter burn time)
srm6/lpl

ml/lpl
ep-ppc, ppc/gauss > ep-ppc, ppc/ac10

srm6/ac20 (has the downside of having to aim two projectiles with different velocities)

ac20/ml

what do you think?

Well, Missiles run awfully hot, and making an SRM with a laser vomit is generally not a good idea. Imagine overheating within 270m in front of the guy you're brawling. It's a mother-******* nightmare.

ML and AC20 and SRM6s aren't new.

Just look in Smurphy and find it. Misery used to do AC20 + PPCs but the mech is already obsolete.

Seen a few builds that sneak in their AC 20 shots in a volley of SRMs, at a quick glance it looks like a lone SRM 6 shot, but wham 1 or 2 ac20s come crashing through. Quite effective in that regard.

ERPPC and gauss is always nice, but works best with a lot of helpful quirks. If you are accurate and confident enough with gauss charge timers you can combine lasers with gauss pretty well too.

And in one of few cases where I would recommend it, running a decent speed (70+kph at least), LRM and SSRM is pretty amazing IF, you can get a tag and/or narc to go with, and if it is a lot of SSRMs with one or 2 very heavy LRMs, being stuck to SSRM 2s means you need at least 3 IMO. This way you can chop up lights trying to duel you, either forcing them into LRM range or ending in decent damage exchange, and at the very least can twist brawl defensively like a boss vs bigger mechs in those close ranged situations. You would definitely want the targeting modules too.

SRM4 + MPL is my way to go. It gets hot after a few salvos, but with proper twisting and positioning, it can get the job done.
Also Override is a one hell of a drug

This, is what makes the AS7-D so dangerous. An AC20+SRM6 hitting you at once [and the velocity difference isn't that big] is a big chunk of damage to take at one go. In brawling situations it's absolutely devistating, add the extra 20 damage from the 4mlas the atlas packs, and you've got one hell of a brawler.

It hurts only by remembering it.
It's best applied when hitting a lolcust.

Combining Large Pulses and normal Medium lasers works well. Recycle times are quite similar, not duration, but the durations are not even close to being the worst you can get. Range is a little lacking. But the damage output is nice, especially if you can manage to fit on a whole bunch of lasers

SL + MPL

LL + ML

LPL + ML

LPL + MPL

Any Laser + Gauss

PPC + AC/5

PPC + UAC/5

PPC + LB-10X

PPC + Gauss

PPC + AC/20

AC/20 + SRM

AC/10 + SRM

LB-10X + SRM

SPL + SRM

All of these have fairly good synergy, as long as you keep to the range bracket of the lowest common denominator in the grouping.
