... a mech that runs 104.5kph, sporting 95 firepower and over 350 points of armor, capable of one shotting almost anything from behind and tearing down almost anything thats injured....

Why do I see so few of it on the battlefield?

It'd help if you weren't so vague about what mech and build you were talking about.

Urby.

It got nerfed quite a bit early on, what hurt it the most was the drops of accel/decel when the skiltree got adjusted, then requirking, it got less, then it got Medium armor, as if that makes up for it...

It lost MG and ballistic quirks too. which pissed me off the most.

I'd be truly interested in seeing what urby can sport 88 firepower, especially while moving at 107.

Urby can only reach 104.5 kph, not 107 kph.

Probably linebacker. But it's 90 firepower firepower.

or stormcrow, which I have not seen as heavily recently.

BINGO!

because the Crow is better and ten tons lighter? Also if your armor is anywhere near the 300 range on a LB? You ain't gonna fair well when you actualyl play decent competition. It can mount well over 400.

Stormcrow like all Mechs fluctuates around the nerf bat

Still for a long time I've considered it to be the best Mech in the game
My saying is whatever your Mech can do a Stormcrow can do it better

It got kicked out of 4v4
It can missile
It can chase down lights
I could go on and on

And no I never owned a Doomcrow its just my observation

I think most people stopped running Stormcrows when they couldn't be put in scouting anymore and just went with the Nova for SPL spam, Huntsman for SRM spam, or Hunchback IIC for some dual LBX20 or dual gauss. Stormcrow was the value pack of scouting considering it could do everything but ballistics but now that's out and better mediums have come out since it did.

Besides that, how would you know if its the best mech in the game if you've never owned one. Buy one and realize its weaknesses. It can't poptart and its legs get ripped off easily against opponents leaving it with much more basic tactics available than the other clan mediums.

Its has the same problem as the Timberwolf, the stormcrow is a good all rounder but it does nothing particularly well.

Oh I have seen Linebackers, there is love for them.

Specifically, there is the Dr. Strangelove fascination for them being one of 4 Clan Mechs to use dual ERPPC on, nothing else.
That's 30, not 88 firepower.
Seen lots of 2ERPPC Linebackers lately.

Pretty sure the linebacker can't poptart either. And somehow I've never found my Crow terribly prone to legging.

You're probably not running into people trying to leg you, then. My experience with scouting makes me feel it's probably the easiest way to kill them... at least, in scouting. Might be different in other modes.

Anyway, I stopped using my Stormcrow when the UAC/20 got nerfed and I didn't have a plan B build that I liked.

Doesn't look like you tried hard enough. I mechlabed this for about 20 seconds and came up with something that has 95pnt alpha which doesn't use hero hardpoints.

The Huntsman is still better though. 96 pnts and gg.

Easiest is relative, they are extremely durable. there is no easy way to kill a crow given it is part of the holy trinity of hit boxes.

UAC/20 crow? Unique.

I suppose dying is relative too, isn't it? If the rest of your 'mech is so damn hard to kill that it always seems the legs come off, then you'd probably still feel the legs are the weak point, no?

And yeah, it was my first Clan 'mech, so I wanted to give the UAC/20 a go. Paired it with 6 ERSLs and it was pretty fun.

Just because you can't see them doesn't mean they aren't there.

Other mechs may have ECM, but Urbies are ninja.
