Uziel. The name comes from or originates from Ancient interpretations of the Bible as an angel (not trying to be political here, just where it comes from), in other areas they are "an Angel that fell, and is therefore evil." Or even the name itself means "God is my Strength".
To me I feel like Uziel is pretty much referenced to as an Angel, a fallen angel, hence the hero mech's name "Belilal", which..... is pretty much a demon, lol, which I imagine why the color scheme is red and has tentacles all over the place.
If you don't know what I'm talking about or don't want to take time to look at it yourself, here's a picture of it:
Also, the Uziel in MW4 Vegeance box cover is the 2S, so I'm very excited to replicate it's look when it comes to the game:
Now, the Annihilator.
We Already know why the pose is like that (TLDR Alex made a doodle of it posing like so), and the art obviously comes from the original of it.
But one could guess why the Hero is called "Mean Baby"... Perhaps they wanted to give the Awesome hero "Pretty Baby" a bigger brother?
Note that both Pretty and Mean Baby both have only energy and missile hardpoints... we can assume that Danielle Peterson would be the one to pilot this, albeit he only piloted an awesome.
Comparison between the two and their paints:

I got nothing much on the Cougar or the Mad Cat MK II, but what I will say is that the M'C 2 from MW4 series had the config of M'C 2 - 1.
that's all I got, if you have any fun stuff to share about the new Civil War mechs, or any mechs for that matter, please do share. Would love to hear where people have found little easter eggs or interesting things about the MechWarrior Franchise and such :>
