Just as the title says it seems like the event's challenges are poorly worded.

For example:

"Use up all your ammo, inflict at least 200 total damage dealt against the Enemy, and survive in a single Quick Play match"

I'm piloting a Catapult C1 in a Quick Play match. It's equipped with 2 large lasers, 2 medium pulse lasers, and an SRM 6 with 1/2 ton of ammo. I have no AMS or other ammo types onboard.

In the course of the match I deal just under 300 damage to enemy units and use up all of my srm ammo. My team wins and I survived the match. All challenge requirements as written have been met, however, no challenge completion is registered and no reward is given.

Some important information has clearly been left out of the description of the requirements for that particular challenge.

Edit: Catapult C1

Could be the case using energy weapons counts as having weapons with unlimited ammo despite using up the SRM ammo. But before that did you check the tournament page at the top of the following hour after that match, or otherwise login or return to the main menu after the following hour?

Alright, I'll give it an hour. The "secret challenge" was awarded immediately post-match 2 games prior but given the current time it is likely that was right as the hour rolled over.

The challenge completion status does seem to be a bit of a crap shoot sometimes as to when it shows up. My secret challenge showed up very quickly after a couple of games in my Urbies but the others seem to take much longer.

Challenge status has updated, challenge has been awarded.
Thanks for all the replies, now if you'll excuse me I have to go chant my new mantra:

Patience is a virtue.
Patience is a virtue.
