Jaws is one of those classic movies, one that kept half the kids who saw it out of the bathtub for a good long while. Jaws is simply a movie in which a large shark has taken up residence around a resort community, and treats the inhabitants as a snack. Although not many people get eaten in the movie, a skinny dipper (who caused many a teenage boy to get eye strain), a young boy, a dog, a boater, and the good old captain of the Orca.

The acting was great, and made the movie itself, not to mention this giant shark that hunted boaters. I must say that I enjoyed this movie, and while not intended for children, is well done. I tip my hat to you Bruce (yeah, that's the sharks name).Posted Image

One of my favorite scenes is where a pair of boys decide to "prank" their fellow beach loving swimmers, with a fake shark fin. A+ for effort boys.

Never saw the Jaws movies, only deep blue sea Posted Image
Entertaining and cheesy ad F!
However.. a BAD thing about such movies is that it stamps certain species as pictured in said films.
There are people believing what they sea and go full on lockdown on theiropinion on.. lets say, sharks. Sharks dosent intentionally murder people for fun, they kill to eat, survive or to some degree toy with their prey as far as I know.
Same with wolves.
Some people will mass hunt and go full on genocide on species without even knowing or bothering to understand the animals, why they do what they do.

Its like "As long as those wolves kill my sheep they need to go extinct, because I dont care if I built my sheepfarm in a wolf dominated territory, they need to die, I dont care, I want my sheep here!" Killing some of the ecosystem in the process.

Such people need to be teached, ooooor just feed them to the sharks Posted Image

Saw it as a kid on VHS. Nightmares about sharks. But I loved it. And I love it now. Quinn, I believe is his name, is my favorite character. He's the wiley veteran character every story needs.

I remember when Jaws came out and all the coastal beach towns were up in arms that it was killing their business that summer. I didn't see the movie until it came out on VHS a few years later, and I certainly didn't want to go to the ocean. Spielberg did a great job with the film, and they couldn't have cast better talent for the roles. Unfortunately, the sequels didn't hold a candle to the original. 2 wasn't too bad, but after that, it pretty much went right in the toilet.
