Right, remember when periodically one gets logged automatically in the forum.
Well, right now you still do. But you don't have to enter your email and password. Or at least it happens to me. Just press login, and voila, you're logged in.
That kind of worries me, i think PGI should make that auto-login optional instead.

No More Password Login?

I actually never had this happen to me. Rather, I get issues when it logs me out for absolutely no reason, or when refreshing a old page it'll give me the "You do not have permission to create a topic".
Go figure.... PGI's forums are unoptimized, just like their game

Buzzkill:
I just had to enter my email and password to log back in. Because it kicked me off.
What you are seeing is a strange glitch where it shows you as logged off until you get to General Discussion OR you click the Log In button. Been seeing that all day.

You probably just logged in on a tab then switched to another tab where you haven't logged in yet. Session cookies are usually browser-wide and not attached to a tab.
As for being logged out automatically, that's probably just your session cookie expiring. I think they have that set to 24 hours or so.

I use a Cookie Manager addon to edit my cookies to never expire, then set them to read-only.
I only have to click the login button after a maintenance, (when the site resets and manually logs everyone out,) and never have to retype in my UN/PW because the browser always remembers them.

They seem to have done something to the forum code. For months now, I've been unable to access my notifications directly from the GD. Both on my computer and on my phone. I would have to click a random thread and click the notification button from there. Now I can finally see my notifications everywhere, instantly. Except from the forum front page, where the notification button is invisible. I guess there were traffic issues, maybe?
