The simple fact that you are even running somewhere in the open "half way across the map" from a mech that does have a range to hit you in your Commando with effective range of like 200m says it all. Time to get a clue.

On the one hand, players do cheat. We've seen it happen; we know of the bans. It doesn't always follow that credulity automatically nullifies a player's claims, here or elsewhere.

On the other hand Johnny, the way you've presented your worries and the lack of evidence is probably going to turn this thread into this:-



Rather than break forum policy and call out a player by name, maybe contact PGI and express your concerns. Even if you didn't have any recording software running or couldn't grab screenshots in time, PGI might be able to look into it if they think it's a valid concern.

i remember that locust i had pegged with a dual cerppcs in fp and someone on my own team reported me for aimbotting. ultimately it was a half-aimed pop shot that ended up being very lucky.
