P2optimize has been the running theme, heck some clan heros were heralded as that and the forum cheered. Now it seems piss and vinegar flows freely in the veins of most forumites and all they can do is excrete salt, at this point my salt farm will be having a glut of salt.

Well, P2W Heros were a concern back in the day when Embers, Dragon Slayers, and Murmets ruled the field.
Concerns died down for a good while until the introduction of the First Clan heros.

Kitfox and Dire were the obvious winners, and there was a little concern about P2W/P2Opt.

But now it looks like more of a trend. A trend that has a rather easy and simple fix.

But all of the nuance about the problem is gonna down the toilette in one big salty flush.

GI is an ac2x2 death machine on chain fire. It's interesting to use the bal quirks for acs that has faster rates of fire than guass.

2xUAC5 is OP on the GI...

3 x Mpulse, 1 x SRM6, and a LBX10 is also a good.

On my phone making these builds are super painfull.
Build one. One Srm 6 with art. 3 medium pulse Lazors and 2 machine guns. You are quick for a Hunchback, use your good dps to help take out mechs.

Build 2. Long range supporter. 2 er lazors. Lrm 10 with art. Tag. Machine guns. Try and run out of ammo.

Ammo armor values can be swapped around at will. These preform alot better when you have cool down modules equipped for the weapons.
Edit of a new build I just thought up. Its very left side tho. Protect it with your life. Will try this once I get home.

Might as well. The mech is too far behind the curve, now.

Based off my experience I think it will be fine when IS ER MLs come in.

Clan Gauss + CER ML is only comparable to IS Gauss + LL in terms of effectiveness and if IS ER MLs come in and have the right stats then I should have more fun with my GI.

I like running Gauss + 4 ER ML HBR and Gauss + 3 LL Ilya Muromets for example and I find that having longer range vomit to accompany the Gauss makes a big difference in the damage numbers I can put out.

Also Gauss blows up and takes your mech with it so common sense would dictate that you not go in too close whenever possible.
