Go back and reread the comment you originally responded to, genius. He was specifically referring to scenarios where someone in dead chat has told the enemy team where a surviving teammate is. I have literally (and yes, really literally) never seen that happen except in that one case I outlined and when someone is AFK.
You've had it happen to you once. Good job, you found some spectacularly ****** players. Allegedly. There's a world of difference between people being pissy in dead chat and people helping the enemy team find active teammates, you're not doing any good trying to pretend that they're the same thing. The latter is incredibly rare even in games like World of Tanks that are honking big mountains of salt in every match. Save the condescension for when you have an actual point to make.
I mean, hell, even potatoes raging in chat is maybe a once in thirty or forty matches thing, in pug QP to boot. You're either deliberately exaggerating the commonality of it or unconsciously squashing every single bad experience together as if it were a continuous string of matches that happened in the course of a few days. In the vast majority of matches people are either silent in dead chat or attempting to be helpful.

Sigh... Listen chief, I havn't the time or inclination to lecture you in-depth on how language works, so here's a really brief synopsis: When you make generalized statement you are not 'specifically' referring to anything within, or outside of, the broad scope of that statement. So when someone says teammates calling out your position is probably your fault, that's making a generalized statement, which means it includes any circumstances therein, not just the ones you chose to cherrypick.

Giving one example does not mean it's only ever happened once, derp. "Allegedly"... Admittedly, it's all anecdotal... But then so is your claim of how frequently it really happens - That whole 'logic' door you just tried opening swings both ways bud. And I did save it for making a point, I'm sorry you're so engrossed in yourself that you missed it.

Any data to back that up? ... Hmmm, no? I'll tell you what, Mr. Pot--You come up with something more than "because I said so", and I will do the same. Until then perhaps you should stow your vitriolic self-righteousness... mmmkay?
In my experience it happens on a regular basis. It happened in CB, it happened in OB and it still happens to this day. Dead teammates giving out the positions of their teammates out of spite is something I have witnessed with some frequency in MWO. Clearly, the entire purpose of my existence is hop on MWO forums and lie about my experiences in the game because it serves some hidden agenda and gives meaning to my life, because something a mighty nobody doesn't agree with couldn't possibly be true! ...

Yes, because it's 100% practical to stop and hold TAB, find the name of the dude that won't shut up, and mute him, in the middle of a match while you are trying to play and are getting shot at. Even behind cover, that could be the moment someone needs to come around the flank and get a free shot in.

I have to admit I have never run into an issue where the dead started to tell me what to do, maybe I am just that good
