Under settings there's an option to switch off VOIP. Tho I still recommend leaving it on. The number of times it is useful outweighs the trolls

You can go into settings and turn it down to a desired level...including zero thus making passive-aggressive IS guy or angry Clan guy totally silent.

Settings. Audio. I don't recall the name of the slide bar that controls the voices but just reduce it to a desired level (drag left). I think it does control betty as well so don't go to zero if you want to keep her present. It doesn't affect VOIP. That is a check box.

Oh dear god no. Just mute the trolls but leave the voip on.

The number of times I call out a warning to a team mate about his imminent butt-sex and he doesn't respond because the idiot decided to turn the sound off.
