I have noticed that the randomization in quick play is flawed. There are faction groups that 12 man/woman in quick play or even other groups with the best mechs upgrades and players. I have been in game that have scores of 0-12, 1-12, 3-12, etc. Balance has been an issue with this game, especially the tier system. My idea is simple and will probably bring more new people into MWO. Create a third play method into MWO. We have Quick play and Faction. My third recommendation is "single player quick game". How it works is simple. If you are "SOLO" you are added into the "single player quick match que". If you are in a group 2 or more you are excluded from that game play. That means anyone any faction or tier can drop "SOLO" and play a game matched "Randomly" with other players regardless or skill, tier or faction. I believe this would bring a very fun new element to the game everyone would enjoy! On a side note, can you bring faction maps to quick play please. The DEVS should be able to do it without too much effort.

Sibberus "Cheers"

What you are asking for is already what normal quick play does. Quick play has two options, solo and group. If you aren't in a group at the moment then you will be added into the solo queue. The only way to play against or with a premade group is to join into the group queue. It is possible that players in solo on one team might have some people in the same unit or from the same faction, but they were matched together randomly and it would only be because that faction or unit has a high player population.
In faction play there is no divider between groups or solos.

Faction/unit is irrelevant for MM and what you proposed is basically what MM already does.

You missed the point. Single player quick play. I have selected the "Quick play" and as a single player been put with people two plus. I want a system that if you are one person you are matched with one person not two or more in a group. SO.... 12 people playing as "one" are matched against other "one players", not groups of 2+. Sorry I thought I made it clear.

As others have said. That is how MM works at the moment.
Solo players are not matched against groups. Solo matches are based on a (flawed) PSR score and corresponding Tier.. and mech weight classes.
When you launch a solo quickplay match, all other 23 players are also solo (not in a group of whatever size)

I believe the OP is asking for a PUG queue in Faction Warfare play.

OP would like to see more balance in Quick play and new maps. Faction play is diminishing not expanding. I am seeing more and more non unit people in game matches. Stay the course "Padawan".

How do you propose to balance quick play? Separating the good players from the lesser ones?
APB did this with Bronze/Silver/Gold locked threat districts, results: Nobody played in Gold and you had many dethreaters just so they could play in Silver, so they got rid of locked districts.
New maps is an entirely separate issue that quite a few want, but it's just not going to happen soon (even less likely if a new idea that very few people here will actually like gets thrown around the office).

You missed our point.
The moment you start a "quick play" match when you are SOLO, the other 23 players will be SOLO players like you.
The only time to face a group in quick play is to launch when you are within a group.
Seeing 2 other people with the same unit tag on a team in SOLO queue is nothing short of RNGesus putting those 2 players together. They are not grouped up.
