They appear to be going through strange times.
First there is the advertisers pulling out. I mention that because some YouTubers include community members who might (I cannot say for certain) make money off their channels. I have watched a couple of non-gaming channels that talk about this. Now one of those, a guy who actually did his channel as his job and was making a decent living off it, did a video saying he noticed a big hit on the income from the companies pulling out and I wonder how it has affected the community members and their channels.
Then I go to upload a video today and under Advanced Settings > Category, I chose Gaming and typed in Mechwarror O. Usually if I type Mechwarrior, a lis comes up of all MW games to choose from, adding the O lists only MWO. Well today, MWO is not on the list. It just does not show at all among the MW titles you can choose from, adding the O shows nothing at all. Seems MWO has been wiped off YouTube's Games list, I manually typed it in anyway but I wonder if this is an accident or intentional change considering what is going on at YouTube.
I know they have other issues though those issues normally do not affect MWO but these recent two could (first) and are (second).

Youtube is doing its best to kill itself. It will be interesting to see if the money and branding of google will be able to birth something from its ashes but that bird has lit itself on fire after being conned into thinking it's a phoenix.

Google owns YouTube and YouTube started going down hill as soon as Google bought them
Similar to the companies that bought up a lot of the car forums
They bought up the car forums so they can get the personal data
YouTube will be fine because they can sell your personal data (thanks to Congress)
I just typed in MWO and had no problem finding the right content
Knowledge is power and power is control
Soon you will see videos of two people next to each other typing in the same search requests
But getting different results
