[Armored Yokai]

The jagers will be used to mop the floor when the timeline hits 3060 so will they be replaced with some other faction or unit?

That's a good question, and it is one that I have been wondering, as the board of 3067 is vastly different than the board of 3052...

Why should the pretend maps above have any bearing on the pretend map in this game? To put it another way:

Why should the existence or destruction of a faction in the "lore" have any impact of that faction's existence in this game. That's like worrying about the consequence of the IS victory at Tukyyid in lore, when in this game the clans have won it (twice). It just doesn't matter to PGI or this game.

It's funny, I came to this game for nostalgia of BT and all its' universes associated crap (lore/story). With CW being what it is, I really could not care less about that stuff anymore. Thus, I second the motion for "just making it up".

I'm thinking something like new clans: Meta Turkey and Power Creeper and a new IS faction House Drunken Casual. It fits the current CW motif and is consistent with the games player base. New factions don't have to be that blatant, but something that reflects the 1 bucket nature of the actual game and those that play it, while giving a nod to PGI's efforts toward "balance" and, I suppose if necessary, a nod to the BT universes emphasis of out of control power creep/legacy tech creation that the dark ages really embraced. I am sure if the community put their collective mind to it we could come up with some really interesting/colorful names for PGI to consider.

I for one will no help any Smoke Jaguars...maybe have it up for a vote to see if your Clan will help or not...I won't par take though

On the other hand, if they eliminate the Smoke Jaguars, all the grimdark uberbadguy edgelords might filter to the Nova Cats... or the rest of the Clan population. Right now they're pretty much contained. I think I'd prefer it that way.

Clan Jade Falcon = edge lord trolls
Clan Wolf = yiffing terribad whiners
Clan Ghost Bear = innocently clueless
Clan Smoke Jag = most generally competent and level-headed (lol irony)

IS, I don't really see enough of a trend. I don't think the factions have individually distinct enough histories to attract specific personality types, but if I were to ascribe traits:

Davion = scrubs for days
Lyran = stubborn, often to the point of stupidity
Marik = chill, know how to have a good time
Kurita = usually the better IS players
Liao = similar to Kurita, but lesser in population
Rassalhague = who? (I kid, best sense of community)
