Sorry, but we're more likely to just see map revamps, like a new River City. It's still possible we'll get a new map but, it's doubtful.

WE have mining collective. It would be nice if they could add that to the FW map rotation but it is an industrial complex That is probably the best we could hope for for the Roughneck release since they haven't been touting a new map this next patch.
What I would find really interesting is a Mech Factory map. The Factory is so big you have the battle inside of the factory. Kinda like the fight in the Defiance mech factories found in the novel Operation Excalibur. http://www.sarna.net...for_Hesperus_II
Alternatively instead of a mech Factory you could make the make a Castle Brian. http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Castle_Brian
Other interesting map Ideas.
A Metropolis. Lots of tall buildings. Long fields of fire down roads but lots of side roads to get in cover.
Hilly Plains. Kinda like Polar Highlands but in a more temperate area.
On 'top' of a Warship or Olympic recharge station: A completely man made structure in deep space. Not really completely realistic for a large scale Mech battle but it would be cool.
There was also a structure I remember reading about which was basically a hollowed out asteroid or moon used by the Star League as a spacedock. I think a map like that would be really trippy particularly if they designed it so looking strait up would let you see the other half of the map.

Seems to me they could take maps like mining collective and yank around 2/3rds of the buildings and put new ones in their place, creating new passageways and effectively a new map with minimal work.

The House Marik arena on Solaris VII - The Factory - is literally this.
I would hate to see it limited to just another 1v1 map though...

Nah, call it "The Factory", after Solaris VII's Marik arena. Damn, now I am reminded of Duncan Fisher.

A brian cache / castle brian would be more fun and lore appropriate I think. Especially for Seige mode.
