OK What am I missing here? I've done it 4 times now. I overheat, I turn on override, I wreck, survive and win the match, I have not received the payout for this yet, but I know I should, what am I doing wrong?

You may need to have the override activate after turning it on, according to this thread: https://mwomercs.com...ed-not-working/

What I did to get hard boiled was I first overheated, shut down, activated override, then chain fired my lasers until I just pushed 100% again and my 'mech overrode the shutdown, then went about my business. The language was not clear enough for me to know which of the two qualified, so I did them both.

Had the same problem. Got it on the 4th-8th try. Don't know what I did different that hour, but I got it

It's took me a few matches to get it.

I tried the override during overheating and after coming out of overheating and just got lucky.

It's annoying I know.

Overheated, shut down, override to power back up, turned it off.

Still got it. Didn't need to push heat to 100% after power up.

What is the difference between turning override on during a shutdown sequence or just after a shutdown sequence. could that be it? Stupid PGI.

Yeah it seems the overheat shutdown sequence needs to be triggered once BEFORE you override, otherwise it doesn't count.

I honestly think that people are satisfying the conditions, but there's no way to tell until it shows up on the page and it's taking forever for it to update once people do actually complete it.

I think you need to hit the override key to INTERRUPT the shutdown. The first time I tried, I hit override after the mech is brought back online on its own, and it didn't count. Hit the override during the shutdown to forcefully bring your mech back online did the trick for me.

Its worked on the 8th or 9th successful attempt. (yes I waited for it to update). I believe you do have to trigger override during the shutdown sequence. Thanks for advice!
