I can't remember the exact name for the system but I do know that in the software dev cycle you'll have a list of bugs/features etc and the priority rating to get them solved/implemented.

Can you open these up to the public so we can vote on what needs priority.

While I love the work you folks do, some of the issues affect us far more than what you may think. I can see in the latest patch, certain issues being addressed (which seems quite random) but they trumped things which may affect the community more.

If we (the customer) can provide you a vote (you dont HAVE to follow it) at least you can know how much it's burning the community.

Short of examining their SDLC or actually looking at their urgency/impact schedule (both of which are unlikely) I don't think this would work well.

It would have to be exceedingly simplistic voting which would set potentially unrealistic expectations. Just because something would become priority one doesn't mean it will be finished quickly.

Example: you have an awesome project that you want done now. It takes one month to complete. It's worth lets say 10 satisfaction(the max). you have 10 smaller less awesome projects that take 2 days each and are worth 1 satisfaction. Which is worth more in a urgency/impact analysis? The smaller ones as when added together they take 20 days and have an equal satisfaction level.

Note: I'm not necessarily defending anyone or anything. I'm just giving an example as to why things are happening how they are happening.
