Please note that this is the first draft and its full of typos and still very much a work in progress type of thing. However i am looking forward to get some constructive feedback on the idea. So please read it and comment if you have anything you would like to bring up.
10 vs 10 format
IS mechs only (some clanmechs may be allowed, IceF, Molex, shadowcat,)
The idea of the game mode is to raise the TTK and force teams to fight on shorter ranges. It also penalizes less on the dying part encouraging more agressive gameplay when dying does not cost you cbills. The idea with banning clans is simply hard point inflation and certain clan mechs get too high aplhas in order for it to be entertaining. Therefore only hardpoint starved clan mechs can possibly be added to the game mode. It also encourages more mobile gameplay making it more fun to watch instead of the typical gauss+ppc poptarting seen in comp games due to the lighter tonnages used.
banned weapons: ERLL,ERPPC, PPC, GAUSS, LPL, lurms?
Only 1 mech of each variant allowed with up to two of the same chassis. e.g. only one raven 3l is allowed per drop leaving room for one additional raven in that drop that is not the 3l. The exception to the rule is drop 5 where multiple of the same variant is allowed up to a maximum of 3.

loser bans one map from the map pool of 3 maps and the winner picks the next map

winning grants 2 points and most kills grants 1 point

Assault
Both teams may have up to 2 urban mechs with a minimum of one. Only the urbies are allowed to cap the the base. for Victory 1 point is awarded and each urbie kill grants 1 point. Most kills grants 1 point.

Incursion
Points are awarded for transporting fuel cells into your own base. 1 point awarded FOR EACH CELL. overall most kills awards 1 additional point.

Drop 5 Grand melee
Grand melee only 100 ton mechs allowed. On very small maps.
Skirmish
winner gets 3 points
winner is decided by who scores most points overall. The winner gets 3 points in the league table , the lsoer gets 1 and in case of a draw they both get 2 points.
