Unofficially am sure if pgi can make a fast buck off of it you will get your urbie iic and like all iic mechs it will be out right better in every way to the original. So you will not be able to prove anything except that you can not play anything but crutch clan mechs that fill in for you ineptitude as a pilot.

That's the problem, you people see them as separate. We just see them as "Urbanmech", that's it. HBK still thrives, despite HBK-IIC.

Still, it's clan-tech, of course it will perform better. But hey, there is still the IS HBK, IS Highlander, IS Jenner still being used. Heck even Warhawk is still being used, when there's Marauder IIC.

ACH would literally be a lot more useful, or kitfox, over the Urbanmech. And i ******* love urbanmechs, yet i say that. We don't play IS Urbie because it's a good mech, we play it because its a fun mech. Lots of others still play their favorite mech, even if there are better mechs. Even if there's Urbie IIC, i'd still take out the IS Urbie for a spin, literally.

As for the unique icons, define unique? Is it like Clan Ghost Bear's totem mech is the Kodiak, and no other faction made the Kodiak it's totem mech? Urbanmech IIC is still a different mech than the Urbanmech, just as Highlander IIC is distinct from Highlander IS, or the Marauder from the Marauder IIC. They may be copies, but they are still different chassis.

Besides, whose to say that Urbie's representing the clans in the first place? I don't see a problem having both the Urbanmech IIC and the Piranha in the same game. ****, I'm pretty sure that Timber Wolf is literally the defining Clan Mech that represents clan.
