It would be nice if PGI gave us a good selection of reticule sets. We should be able to choose from at least 4 or 5, or even go a step further and allow us to make the changes based on individual functions, example: I could change the shape, thickness and color of the arms reticule, but leave all the others alone, or I could change the cool-down and range to one style, and the arms and torso to other styles. Lastly, being able to change colors and thickness as well would be a huge improvement, even if this alone was the only changes we could make. I might also suggest a setting that allows us to set up some sort of “contrasting” change, so if your targeting over a yellow background in your IS mech, that the reticule changes to a red or blue based on your selection, maybe have a “shadowed” reticule where you could make various color/thickness selections. I presume most of these could be coded in to a file that would be on the computer side (instead of server side) so that would keep the resources on our computer’s side alleviating any draw from the hosting servers.
Simply, this would allow us to have better visibility for targeting and tracking based on how our individual eyes see things, and give a bit of individuality to our various cockpits, thus, when observing after death, you would either see the team mates reticule the same as yours, or it would flip back to the default set while observing (I prefer the later).
Please give me your thoughts and any constructive suguestions on ths topic.
Respectfully,
