So Titanfall 2 is making a new mode where a player is maked as the VIP on each team. Just thought I would say " See I told you so."

Maybe this game will have a mode like that since its been a topic for years on these forums.

I wouldnt want to be on the same team as you when you are set as the VIP, I can see your team giving the reds a clear path to you.

QuakeWorld Team Fortress had it before Counterstrike. It was called "Hunted," and one player was the president, and you hutned them.

All Points Bulletin has had "VIP" as one of the final mission stages since the RTW version (randomly picks someone in Fight Club and picks the team/group leader in Mission districts).

Truth of the matter is most other games have this and all of their versions are fun, escorting a "VIP" that doesn't twist / fire back / and walks at half speed is not fun at all.

I'd rather have a VIP that at least tries than an empty headed potato that literally doesn't do anything.

A player being VIP is what I was expecting when the game mode was added. A game mode with a mobile objective with a brain.

Like other replies have said, other games have a player VIP mode and not sure why this game would be trolled so heavily as to make it impossible. I have been VIP many times and its a fun role, as well as protecting the VIP.

Earlier topics on this forum do have replies saying it wouldn't work, but many replies say it would and since other games have this it is sort of a proven concept either way it is looked at, trolls saying it wouldn't work aside.

Not that the current NPC VIP mode is all bad, it isn't at all, it adds variety to the game modes available and a different kind of game play and that's all good, no complaints here. Just that there may still be room to add the player VIP game mode to the game as well and nothing wrong with that.

Yes the COC and TOS mean nothing to some that is well known. That you shout it out in the forums in a threatening manner is no surprise.

VIP mode isn't that much different from a CTF mode. The main difference of a CTF mode is that the Flag person will alternate team to team, depending who picks up the flag. (Carry the Flag mode).

as for the player controlled vip, i like the atlas, but they can change the mech from time to time. One of each class maybe

These forums are great fun aside from a few highly aggressive accounts.

Very few accounts/alts are aggressive to players, to the people making this game, or just about the game itself. Cant let the haters speak for everyone right?
