Mauler MAL-MX90. Been one of my fav mechs since MW2 Mercs - looks badass, has a cool cockpit. I always feels good using it.

4xUAC5's. The champion version is largely similar how I usually run it. Probably the best dakka setup in an IS mech with the great quirks and hard points it gets.

Dakka doesn't really suit the current meta but I find it so much more satisfying.

Not just. Clan Wolf loyalists have a reputation as Clan whiners, with quite a few to be found in the Falcons and Ghost Bears, too. The most level are the players repping Smoke Jag, with only two exceptions that immediately spring to mind.

Well, either Shadow Hawk or Banshee. The most trustworthy mechs I've ever piloted. Thoughness, nice speed, great hitboxes and more. Can hit like a truck too.

SHD build I like.

I've been playing the hell out of my MAD IIC-D. I don't know if I'd call it "the only mech I'll ever use," but it hasn't gotten boring, yet!

There are still Smoking Jags to be found? So...what... the whole 3-4 of them left don't whine? Posted Image

This is harder than I thought it would be. Tempted to say Kodiak SB... i love me some short range brawling srms and cuac20. but man some times it gets frustrating to get dropped on a long range map 3 times in a row, and then spending the majority of the match trying to get into fighting distance. Probably my overall favorite mech in the game... just worried i might get burnt out on it if the map selector screws me over for a period of time and i only have a single mech.

The kodiak 3 is probably the wiser choice as it is viable on all maps, but I just don't love it as much as the Spirit Bear.

So yeah have to be Spirit Bear

One mech or one build?

Mech is obviously EBJ, but EBJ is known for versatility, so limiting it to one build is pure [edit]not smart[/end edit], But I like the 8 med-pulse build the best, and I desync fire with 5-3 split on sides for optimal side peek. That's probably my favorite build on the EBJ.

If you were only allowed one Mech what would you choose? , post Smurfy's if you can. I have pondered this for ages and I was having difficulty choosing between my EBJ and my TBR , In the end my EBJ goes back longer than my Timby , so mine would be the Classic Ebon Jaguar build. I know its nothing new or exciting , but man I have had lots of fun in it , and lets face it , its fun we are here for.

Come on , show us your best.

In MWO?

Heavy Metal (Highlander hero).

If I could have a second mech. Dragon. Decent speed plus amazing arm range plus good twist.

In Battletech?
A Dragon. That thing tanks like a ************ though unless you resort to melee, its offensive capabilities are terribad.

Far as Smurfies... Nah, I don't wanna share my trade secrets.

I'd pick the Timberwolf. I appreciate both IS and Clan Mechs but the Timberwolf was one of the first mechs I remember piloting back in Mechwarrior 2.

Next would probably be the Mad Cat MKII, I was going to preorder it but I recently lost my job so I'll just wait until it's out.

I've got to say, ever since I started running my BSW-X2, I've kind of fallen in love with her. Shoot-an-scoot, flank and engage or sit in the second line with the assault mechs, then close to brawl when we are going to take the win.

With new tech, I might try changing her around to accommodate either a UAC/10 or RAC/5 depending on the mechanics used by either weapons in place of the AC/10... also planning on swapping the MPL's for isERML's. and trying to swap the engine for a LFE.... will make additional adjustments as needed.

It's really hard to pick just one. I would probably have to go with the Enforcer 5D. I have it built for more speed and using the AC10 and not the LBX. It will probably be the one of the first mechs I will be toying with different builds after the new tech. Now, will I go RAC5 or the UAC10...

Forced to have one mech only? My Phoenix Hawk 1b that has been my go to mech since it released. This bugger has been stupidly fun to play for the past year and gotten me to where I am today, while bushwackers, marauders, riflemen, archers, battlemasters, cyclopsi, jenner iic's have all be fun rides I can always count on my Phoenix Hawk to be a fun ride and let me pull through matches. The agility and pretty good dps on it makes it nasty and as the match wears on I find it gets more deadly. Plus that shoulder PPC is very nice at all phases of the match.

Can't wait for civil war tech, going to slap a LFE in it, 3xMPL, a light PPC in the shoulder (I only lose like 3 damage for a huge boost in DPS and survivability) and going to experiment with stealth armor on it.
