Am I the only one that would like to get camo patterns or paint colors, instead of cockpit items?

Almost all we ever get is cockpit items, I have very few colors (they sale very few for CB) and a couple of camo patterns because i per-purchased a couple of mech.

It would be nice to get some paint colors or patterns as rewards for incentives for the challenges

True, a pattern could be an objective, unlocked for all variants of the mech frame that achieved that particular goal.

Or even unlocking a set of three colors, basic cbill colors only though.

To bad PGI does not realize that if they reworked there goofy camo/color buying UI
They would sell way more camos/colors

They've given patterns and colors before but it has been very rare. I have magnesium blue and another orange or something from events.

The problem is they make the difficulty extreme to get them.

They still give out colors in events once or twice a year. Last time was probably AJ orange I think. But they will never do them in any manner resembling often, twice a year is a decent amount for giving away obviously desirable f2p premium content

As for camo, I seem to remember once there was an event where you would get a specific unlock for a specific mech, can't remember the details but it appears that's one event reward type that doesn't come up..

I believe they stated that they don't want to give away colors and ****, because some people that already have them get screwed over or something along those lines.

Just wait for a 50% sale on colours you want and pick them up, they're not THAT expensive.

And me with 30+ standing items and hanging items and warhorns really wants to earn more of them...

The logic is astounding.

I think the logic is that you can have more than 1 of the same item, but with colors, once you have them, you can't unlock them a second time.

It's pretty **** logic, but its there.

What about a random unlock? If you already bought the color it will spin the wheel on those that you have not.

Brilliant, I'd love this. Get 100 match score in 10 matchs on Incursion and get 1 random color unlock.


They could really get me to play more if they offered something like this.


Now I just need to get a kill on a mech with a battery cell and I'll be done and then go to sleep. I've been up 27 hours, I have really bad insomnia and its 5 am here.
