Really? Thats All You Get For Farming The Fuel Cells?

Yet again man, the rewards are too small to be of value!
Those fuel cells are difficult to get(less locust speed), not to mention defenders.

I just spent the whole match trying to get the stupid cells and fighting off light after light, I got one, brought it back...we won....and 2x now my score was awful!!!!! And i only got like 120k cbills with a kill to boot!

Previous game I knocked out 2 base points...again, score was real low and cbills was crap!

Come on man, how does this not register???? Of course everyone defaults to skirmish!!!
You get no rewards!!!

Booo!!!

Though i do like the game mode, its fun.
But i think that is under the guise of the event.
When the event goes away this will be less amusing.

Paulconomists have been opening up those tight purse strings only so slightly.

Killing mech still pays out more though.

1 Match score per fuel cell pick up, 1 match score per fuel cell drop off, 800 cbills per fuel cell pick up, 5000 or 8000 per drop off, totally work something you can do up to 3 times every 2 minutes. Make it 10 MS for both parts, 8000 cbills, and 25,000 to drop off. it is ******* dangerous to get those cells given they are all placed right where the hotzones of conflict are instead of off in remote areas to make it so lights are pushed into doing their own thing in skirmishing with one another over generators and giving a mote of "rolewarfare".

Theres no reward for bringing back cells at all... I won't bother with it beyond getting the event reward... not worth the risk... I got killed once just trying to get one. So bad for stats.

Kill the enemy and damage their base in the process. That's my mantra for incursion. you want C bills? PGI forgot to seriously think about this me thinks. Still fun though.

agree with OP, make all secondary objectives have incredible cbill/xp rewards. then you will get more people to play the objectives than skirmish.

You missed the part where they lowered our cbill rewards from damage done to enemies to OVERCOMPENSATE.

PAULCONOMY of constant cbill reduction never increase is alive and well.

The pinnacle of the Paulconomy was when moving from 8v8 to 12v12. C-bill gains simply weren't there in that conversion.

Yeah killing enemies is still the best money maker. Increase the rewards for playing the mode until people actually play the mode as currently it's not worth the effort.

Wasn't that the whole "We are lowering the value of rewards due to you have more chances to earn them in the new 12v12 format" bit? PGI is just sad with this in game economy and now the whole even possible specter of the skill tree having any cbill price attached to nodes is like "you pay us nothing and feel we need a cbill sink" makes me shake my head.

Also, interesting bug in Incursion, mode won't end unless you enough damage buildings to force the server to check win conditions after the last enemy mech is dead. So you can in fact destroy a building get ahead on how much HP your base has, and not have the match auto end, until you hit another building. I know why it is (less stress on the server, it is a when statement which is less resource intense) but it is funny to see. At least blowing up buildings is worth it. But, honestly, given in a match where you will likely maybe ferry a fuel cell 2-3 times, tops, I usually do it 0-2 times, mostly 0-1 time when running around 1 match score for picking it up and 1 for dropping it off is nothing for the amount of danger I am putting myself in for the darn thing, and 5800 cbills for the trip is not a lot for easily dying since you will often get into a light-medium lance fight that quickly (due to the size of most maps and placement of most generators) become an entire team battle. This needs to go up. If if someone wants to spend their likely 6-8 minutes of the match grabbing 3 cells ever 2 minutes to get rewards, let them, but, the cell rewards should be 5k for pick up, 5k for drop off, 10 match score for pick up, 10 match score for drop off, or something like that. Something significant. If someone does that for all 6-8 minutes that is 6*3 or 8*3 which is 18 to 24 which is 180 to 240 match score for doing that all game, and 90,000-120,000 for ferrying those cells. Given that is kind of impossible to do as enemies will be picking them up and they will be fighting in between those that seems rather reasonable to me. Most people would be 20 to 60 match score and 10k-30k extra cbills from ferrying cells (a light going after one generator three times in a match and during the down time aiding the team). Not a huge extra reward but a nice bonus instead of 1 match score an some change.

That is if you get to that stage, but, yes, I feel the building's are at the right reward, forget the match score reward for them, but, outside of a base trade/race situation it works out just fine imo. It is the other 'objective' that exists in the mode that is pennies on the dollar that is a problem.

They should remove the respawn timer on those powercells so you could charge your battery immediately as you arrive and go. That way you would be able to run back and forth a lot more often and gain more c-bills and serve your team better.
As it is now, its barely worth to wait for the spawn since before they do a second time, usually half the team is gone and the game has already been decided.

Here are my stats from latest game where I went to enemy base and by objective wrecked it completely making us win game:

I am sure building damage doesn't count to end damage because I shot all my ammo and had to finish with lasers.

Yeah damage to objectives (other than the vip, I think) does not count to damage for Match Score, cbills, or on the match results damage counter, which kind of blows chunks and is a massive way to incentivize playing objectives.

Yeah lol that why I did like get cell, K done, kill base. Components, K done... Skirmish.

I like the game mode though, it's fun. That air support thing is devastating man! Eff that thing!! I finished my challenge, took a while though the mode wouldn't come back for me for like 6 hours.

Seriously though objectives need love. $$$ love.
